We are transformative 501(c)3 leadership development organization dedicated to unlocking the limitless potential of young minds in underserved communities, primarily in the Chicagoland Area. We are committed to nurturing the next generation of innovators, trailblazers, and pioneers.
Recognizing that nearly a third of youth from low-income families fail to earn high school diplomas and only one in ten graduate from a four-year college, David's Circle addresses this disparity with comprehensive college readiness, financial literacy, and professional development programming, designed to accelerate students' journeys and provide them with the tools and confidence to succeed.

College Readiness
Our College Readiness Bootcamp equips students with essential skills and knowledge to thrive in college and beyond.. This include academic preparedness, college application guidance, personal statement workshops, and scholarship hacks,
Financial Literacy
The Financial Literacy program educates students on the importance of credit management, budgeting techniques, savings strategies, and basic investing principles needed for sound financial decision-making and long-term financial stability.
Personal and Professional Development
We provide targeted mentorship, networking opportunities, and skill-building workshops, equipping students with the tools and confidence to excel in their careers.
Meet the Founder
Erin S. Lyke
Erin S. Lyke is a bold, trailblazing, and innovative professional who has discovered a unique approach to the financial services industry.
Having faced adversity at a young age with the loss of her father and experiencing homelessness, Erin recognized the critical need for financial literacy within the African American community. As a result, she chose to use her story as a testimony to break barriers by earning her Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Magna Cum Laude, from Tuskegee University in 2021.

Beginning her career a Wealth Management Associate, Erin advanced to Investment Associate, developing strategies for ultra-affluent clients. She now leads a $16.5 billion community investment program, empowering minority-owned businesses.

Through David's Circle (NFP), Erin utilizes her financial expertise to educate, inspire, and cultivate the talents and aspirations of minority adolescents in underserved communities, empowering them to thrive and pursue their God-given potential.
Alan David Lyke
October 15, 1954 - June 16, 2001
The Why.
Alan David Lyke, born in 1954 in Chicago, exemplified a life of adventure, innovation, and service. After faithfullyserving in the U.S. Navy until 1975, he embraced a non -conventional, entrepreneurial spirit. As a devoted father, brother, and friend Alan's passion for life left a lasting impression. His untimely death in 2001 created a void felt by many who cherished his charm and grace.

In his memory, David's Circle (NFP) was founded to continue Alan's commitment to youth through innovation, scholarship, and service. Though Alan's life was cut short, his legacy lives on through this organization, impacting future generations and underscoring the profound influence of a single individual.
